1 Program with Matt Wells

Matt started his association work in 2001 as the Member Service Coordinator for the Grain and Feed Association of Illinois. While at the Grain and Feed Association he manage an Annual Convention and Trade Show, worked with multiple volunteer boards along with organizing and developing scholarship fundraising programs. In 2007, he accepted the position of Executive Vice-President of the Automotive Parts and Service Association of Illinois. At APSA of IL, he served as the chief executive officer and registered lobbyist. He guided the organization through a multistage strategic organizational plan to reverse double-digit attrition in membership and implement revenue generating member service programs. May of 2011 Matt accepted the position of Associate Director of Mid-West Truckers Association, Inc. His role includes lobbying state legislative for 3,000 trucking companies operating in or through Illinois, solving member problems, handling industry issues and managing volunteer boards.

Matt has been involved with ISAE and ASAE since 2001. He has served as an ISAE committee chair from 2002-2006,and served on the ISAE board from 2003-2006. Matt was awarded the ISAE Rising Star Award in 2005. He is married to Christina Wells and they have three boys, Garrett and twins, Eli and Aiden.
